Manaus, capital of Amazonas state, is one of the country’s most important production centers for a wide array of industries and is of fundamental importance to the operations of TAM Cargo.

According to Pablo Navarrete, executive director at TAM Cargo, the new domestic terminal is part of LATAM Airlines Group’s US$20 million investment in the infrastructure of its terminals throughout Brazil. The terminal has 2,600 stocking positions, an exclusive system for storing and identifying freight, a cold room for perishables and ample parking with spaces for 70 small, medium and large vehicles. TAM Cargo clients will also have at their disposal an area for receiving large lots (full pallets) and 20 customer service stations comprised of 14 docks and six positions distributed on two ramps.
