Etihad and airberlin get friendlier

Etihad and airberlin will align their joint networks further, as well as operate more flights between Abu Dhabi and Germany. The airlines recently revealed an A320 aircraft in joint livery to highlight their close relationship that is set to develop further this year. This will see the number of flights they together operate between Abu Dhabi and Germany increasing to 49 weekly flights in February, with the addition of a second daily Munich flight.

Airberlin will also codeshare on additional Etihad destinations in India, Australia and South Korea. The airlines have implemented a joint codeshare across their networks, which will now be followed by a commercial partnership.
