Malaysia’s Malindo Air to begin flights India

Kuala Lumpur-based Malindo Air, a subsidiary of Indonesia’s Lion Air, will commence flights to India from 30 December 2013 using B737-900 aircraft.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia-based Malindo Air, a subsidiary of Indonesia’s Lion Air, has received permission from India’s aviation authorities to commence flights to the country with services to Delhi beginning from 30 December 2013 using B737-900 aircraft. This will be quickly followed by two further routes, with flights to the southern city of Tiruchirappalli commencing 2 January 2014 and services to Mumbai launching on 15 February.
