Global chartering company Air Partner said its freight business is recovering significantly, albeit from a low base. There was significant activity related to aid agency work associated with relief efforts after Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, it noted. “Although this specific work will not repeat, all of the group’s business is mostly one-off in nature, but with customers and underlying drivers of activity recurring,” the company said in a statement.
Meanwhile the largest divisions in in the company – Commercial Jets and Private Jets – traded in line with management’s expectations. Geographically, the performance in Commercial Jets was driven by the UK and mainland Europe, Private Jets by the UK and the US.
