Jan de Rijk Logistics signs contract with Garuda

Jan de Rijk Logistics has announced that it has signed an agreement with Garuda Indonesia. The road feeder service and handling agreement is providing Garuda Indonesia an extensive network to 30 major European airports from its European hub at Amsterdam Airport where it is currently operating 4 flights a week. Vice President of SBU Garuda Cargo, Rajendra Kartawiria said that Garuda Indonesia decided to work with Jan de Rijk as a partner to provide trucking service in Europe because the company has more than 37 years of experiences in cargo trucking services.

He stated that the cooperation is in line with the long term program of the company as stated in the Quantum Leap 2011 – 2015. “(This cooperation) is related to the expansion of Garuda Indonesia flights’ network, particularly the of international cargo shipping as an effort to improve services to our users,” said Rajendra on Friday, June 7, 2013. The agreement was signed at the Air Cargo Europe exhibition in Munich by Rajendra Kartawiria and the CEO of Jan de Rijk Logistcs, Sebastiaan Scholte.
