United Airlines recently celebrated the grand opening of its on-airport kennel facility at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). The special accommodations and amenities supplied by the kennel are provided to animals traveling via United’s acclaimed PetSafe service.
Located inside United’s ORD Cargo Facility, the kennel provides exceptional care for animals stopping or staying overnight at ORD. The facility includes 28 individual enclosures, and different species are housed in separate ventilated and temperature-controlled areas.
The new kennel in ORD is the third facility of its type supporting United’s PetSafe service. Similar kennels are already in use at United’s hubs at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston and Liberty International Airport in Newark.
