IAG Cargo has announced the launch of its thrice weekly services between London Heathrow and Chengdu to support the fast-growing manufacturing sector from September 22, 2013. The services will be operated by B777-200ER, providing more than 5,300 cu ft of cargo capacity.

For IAG Cargo, trade with China was more important than ever to businesses around the world, according to John Cheetham, regional commercial manager, APAC. “The new service will help support customers in this (south-west China) region by connecting them to our global network via our Heathrow hub,” Cheetham said.
