Emirates wants to enlarge its alliance with Qantas Airways to include the profitable trans-Pacific route. The move will enable Emirates to fly across the Pacific Ocean. According to the carrier’s president Tim Clark, Emirates passengers can then fly around the world on A380s. The trans-Pacific routes are not part of the present alliance between the carriers.
