Ending months of integration of businesses, the IAG Group comprising British Airways (BA), Iberia and bmi, has launched IAG Cargo as a single brand. From now on, there will be one product range, sales force and IT systems. According to Steve Gunning, managing director of IAG Cargo, the launch of the brand was an important milestone “in our aim of becoming the world’s leading air cargo network”. The unification will enable the cargo unit to scale up as new carriers are brought under the banner.

Hubs in London and Madrid will be at the heart of the network. While Iberia will service Latin America, BA will ramp up in North America, Africa and Asia.
