India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued a show cause notice to the Dr Vijay Mallya-owned Kingfisher Airlines (KFA), to be replied within 15 days, asking why its flying permit should not be cancelled or suspended since the airline has failed to establish a safe, efficient and reliable service. The operations of KFA are under suspension since September 30, 2012 due to a strike by its employees.
