Four months after Thai Airways dismissed Piyasvasti Amranand, who had served as the state-controlled airline’s president since October 2009, it has chosen Sorajak Kasemsuvan among five applicants to be its new president. Sorajak is expected to complete negotiations of his employment terms, conditions and remuneration by October, according to Dow Jones Newswires.
