Lufthansa’s cabin crew has agreed not to go on strike for the next six weeks when the labour representatives will discuss the mediation process with the company’s executives. Lufthansa and union representatives agreed to begin a formal mediation procedure after the airline offered permanent contracts to some temporary cabin crew. However, if talks failed, industrial action was possible.
