Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) is planning to move into new markets – like charters to Africa, Brazil and China — as part of its long-term strategic plan. It is looking for joint ventures or leasing agreements for its grounded B747-400Fs, that have been replaced by B747-8Fs. Shawn McWhorter, NCA’s president for the Americas was quoted in a news report that the carrier was looking to expand without touching Japan. NCA proposes to replace its 747-400Fs and by the end of 2015 it will have an all-747-8F fleet.
