India’s Jet Airways could be the first to receive foreign direct investment after the Indian government gave the necessary go-ahead to foreign airlines to buy up to 49 per cent stake in local carriers. Reports indicate that the UAE’s Etihad Airways has shown its interest to invest in Jet Airways,  80 per cent owned by Tail Winds Limited, an Isle of Man registered entity owned by Naresh Goyal.
