DHL launches two service centres in India

Leading logistics company DHL has been investing in infrastructure in India and recently inaugurated two new, modernized service centre facilities: in Pune near Mumbai and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. While the facility in Pune is spread over 12,000 sq ft has a capacity to handle a volume of over 20,000 shipments per month, the one in Kanpur is over an area of 2,000 sqft with a capacity to handle a volume of close to 1500 shipments a week. These service centre facilities serve as DHL’s local pickup, delivery and sorting operation centre for shipments including documents, non-documents, parcel and heavy shipments.
