New Chinese domestic freighter service launched

CDI Cargo Airlines has plans to operate wide-body to Japan and Korea

Hangzhou-based CDI Cargo Airlines has launched operations with a B737-300 service to Hangzhou-Qingdao-Changchun. The new cargo venture, approved by the Civil Aviation Administration of China in February this year, will operate with three 737-300Fs on domestic routes. The remaining two aircraft will join the fleet in October and December. The carrier also has plans to acquire a long-haul widebody aircraft to fly to Japan and Korea.
