Manchester Airports Group (MAG) will develop a new ‘World Logistics Hub’ in the southern part of Greater Manchester’s Enterprise Zone at Manchester Airport. The development will create around 1.4 million sq ft of new logistics space and will generate more than 1,800 new jobs over the next 10-15 years.  The hub will make up a new logistics district that will handle a large volume of exports — produced in the north-west of England – with the airport’s existing cargo facilities at the adjacent World Freight Terminal.
