Carrier under pressure to halt expansion of fleet

Hong Kong Airlines has decided to take delivery of six Boeing cargo aircraft after 2015. The planes were supposed to join the fleet in 2013-14. The carrier was recently ticked off by Hong Kong’s aviation regulator and ordered to stop expansion of the fleet after complaints were received regarding its services. Also, the carrier will be discontinuing its business-class only flights between Hong Kong and Gatwick from September.
