Brazil’s president Dilma Rousseff wants to hand over the country’s 15 mid-sized airports with annual traffic of 400,000 to one million passengers – many of them loss-making — to private operators, according to Folha de S Paulo newspaper. The president has, however, decided that the government should continue to hold Rio de Janeiro’s Galeao international airport, since it had given up control of Brazil’s biggest airport, Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos, the report mentioned.
