Boeing Shanghai MRO deal with Nok Air

Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services (Boeing Shanghai) announced it has signed agreements with Thailand’s Nok Airlines to perform aircraft maintenance on two of the airline’s B737-400s at Pudong International Airport in Shanghai.

(Boeing Shanghai) announced it has
signed agreements with Thailand’s Nok
Airlines to perform aircraft maintenance
on two of the airline’s B737-400s at
Pudong International Airport in Shanghai.
Boeing Shanghai will complete a C check
and full paint on the first of the two
airplanes for Nok Air in this month. The
second Nok Air 737-400 was inducted on
June 12, also for a C check.

director of Boeing Shanghai. “We look

with Nok Air to support its current fleet
and future expansion plans.”

Established in February 2004, Bangkokbased
Nok Air provides domestic and
international passenger services with a
fleet of ten B737-400s and four Next-
Generation B737-800s. Boeing Shanghai
was established in June 2006 as an MRO
joint venture between Boeing, Shanghai
Airport Authorities and China Eastern
Airlines.
