UPS, FedEx enter Chinese domestic express market
The two international logistics majors will not be allowed to deliver domestic letters
June 28, 2012
China has permitted FedEx and UPS to start domestic operations. Earlier, both the international logistics majors were allowed to deliver packages shipped from abroad to Chinese destinations. Now, the two US-based companies will be competing directly for a share of the Chinese market – only for domestic express parcels — with China Air Transport Association (CATA), SF Express, Yunda, YTO Express and Shentong Express.
