Philippines-based low cost carrier Cebu Pacific has captured 48 per cent of the domestic air cargo market in Q1, according to the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB). It carried 22.1 million kg from January to March this year — 22.7 per cent more than the 18.01 million kg last year. National carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL), on the other hand, transported 12.51 million kg. in cargo in the same period, down by 12.09 per cent from 14.23 million kg last year, according to CAB data.
