Cathay Pacific has announced its expansion with a twice-weekly B747-400F service to Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) – the first is scheduled to land at 2010 (Indian time) today. This development will make Cathay Pacific the first airline to offer air cargo services linking Hyderabad with Asia, South Pacific and the west coast of North and Latin Americas.

RGIA’s cargo terminal can handle 150,000 metric tonnes of cargo annually and also has the country’s only dedicated pharmaceutical handling facility that offers a truck-dock to airside temperature controlled environment for handling pharma products.
