Rising labour costs in China continue to benefit neighbouring Vietnam as the country continues to rise as the new Asian manufacturing centre. Five more airlines have moved to tap the growing cargo and passenger demand out of Vietnam with the latest to launch or resume flights by the end of this year will be: Air China Cargo, Air Hong Kong, Jeju Air (South Korea), Saudi Arabian Airlines, Silk Air and United Airlines. Silk Air, the regional carrier of Singapore Airlines, currently flies to Da Nang in Central Vietnam, but now plans on flying to the capital, Hanoi.
