Qantas has begun its new South American route from Sydney to
Santiago, Chile from 26 March using B747-400 aircraft on a three-times weekly schedule. LAN Airlines will codeshare on the Qantas services while the Australian airline will continue to codeshare on LAN’s daily services between Sydney and Santiago via Auckland.
