Logistics services company Weiss Röhlig, has acquired a JHB Express in Japan, as the international jointventure company continues to expand its presence in Asia. JHB Express is an international logistics company specialising in sea and air freight, based in Osaka.

Logistics services company Weiss Röhlig, has acquired a JHB Express in Japan, as the international jointventure company continues to expand its presence in Asia. JHB Express is an international logistics company specialising in sea and air freight, based in Osaka.

“The acquisition will strengthen our presence in the Japan market, complementing our existing operations in Tokyo,” said Gebrüder Weiss director for air and sea, Joe Lässer. “In addition we will be able to strengthen our intra-Asia capabilities, which will be a significant benefit for our major trading partners in the US.”

Weiss Röhlig’s services in Japan include daily shipments to all major cargo hubs in Asia. As part of the acquisition Weiss Röhlig will also take on the importation cargo certificates such as IATA and the Japanese Consolidation License.
