NetFreight – the browser-based multi-modal freight management system from Impatex – has just undergone its largest-ever upgrade, embodying many new and enhanced features, according to Impatex. The latest release is particularly designed for the needs of larger, multibranch customers.

Chief among the new features of NetFreight is its e-Freight capability: All users can now send electronic air waybills in the form of FWB and FHL messages direct from the system. The introduction of this feature follows successful trials among Impatex’s NetFreight customers in the US.

NetFreight now includes a full warehouse management system that stores and updates information such as stock levels, which can be made visible to customers via the Internet. The programme also embodies a new inbuilt report generator with a high degree of customisation but also allows customers to use third-party packages such as Crystal Reports or SQL for reporting, should they prefer.
