Logwin, a global provider of air and ocean freight and logistics services, has opened a new sales office in Foshan, Guangdong Province, to strengthen its market presence across South China. Foshan has a thriving manufacturing sector for home appliances, electronics products, furniture and garments. The city of six million people is 50 kms from Guangzhou and 150 kms to Shenzhen with good connections to Guangzhou International Airport, Guangzhou Nansha Terminal and Hong Kong International Airport.

“The Pearl River Delta is China’s major manufacturing centre and an engine of industrial and economic growth. This investment in the Foshan office means that we will be better able to serve our existing and future local and global customers more effectively through air freight, ocean and logistics operations team. We will also be able to expand our sales activities in the Foshan area,” said Jimmy Chow, country director for Southern China and Hong Kong at Logwin.

The new office is part of a longer term plan by Logwin to expand its sales capability and office network across a region that includes Hong Kong, Macau, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Jiangxi, Hunan, Hainan and Yunnan provinces. Logwin is focused on developing its business opportunities transportation, warehousing and distribution, logistics services, land transportation and freight forwarding to meet growing demand in China.
