India has invited American business to invest in the burgeoning aviation sector, saying there is a huge potential for investment of up to US$130 billion in the coming years.

Forecasting India’s air passenger traffic to rise to 260 million passengers per year by 2020, India’s Civil Aviation Secretary Nasim Zaidi said private investment so far in the sector has been about $6 billion and the country would require $130 billion worth of further investment over the next 10-15 years, according to a PTI report.
