BA World Cargo (BAWC) and Iberia Cargo will carry on operating as separate brands, following the merger of the two airlines, but the two carriers will be run as a single business unit, BAWC said recently. The two will operate with one sales force and revenue management system, reporting into International Airlines Group (IAG), the holding company created after the merger of British Airways and Iberia. IAG’s new cargo division will be led by BAWC managing director Steve Gunning and Ignacio D’ez Barturen, currently MD of Iberia Cargo, as deputy MD.
