Impatex – a supplier of international customs and forwarding software – has taken its first step into e-freight with the introduction of the FWB (electronic master air waybill) and FHL (electronic house air waybill) messages to its web based NetFreight system. The new functions are initially being provided to the company’s growing customer base in the US and follow on from the recent introduction of ICS (Import Control System) capability to NetFreight. Later, Impatex will provide these messages to all its NetFreight customers in the UK and elsewhere.
