Our goal is to become the best airport in the region and to significantly expand our role as a competitive gateway to Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia,” commented Christoph Herbst, chairman of the Management Board of Flughafen Wien AG. Seventy airlines included Vienna in their flight plans during 2010 including new airline customers: Alitalia, British Midland, China Southern Airlines and Wataniya Airlines.
