The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has reissued Air Nigeria its air operator’s certificate (AOC). The agency had ordered all airlines operating in the country to have their AOCs re-certified in accordance with new civil aviation regulations. Air Nigeria’s chief executive officer, Kinfe Kahssaye, said the certificate reaffirmed the airline’s safety. “We have consistently adhered to global aviation safety requirements and our operations are carried out by a well-maintained fleet of aircraft, as well as support from a competent workforce and it is our commitment to continually maintain the standards,” he said.
