Etihad Crystal Cargo has launched a twice-weekly service from its hub at Abu Dhabi International Airport to Hong Kong effective 13 October using its new A330-200 freighter with a payload of 60 tonnes on the route. Roy Kinnear, senior vice-president of Etihad Crystal Cargo, said: “This new service, our fourth dedicated freighter service to China, is an important strategic addition to our freight network. Hong Kong is the world’s second-busiest cargo hub, giving us huge growth potential and a strengthened product to offer our global key accounts.” With its fleet of two Airbus A300-600 aircraft, two A330 aircraft and two MD11s, Etihad Crystal Cargo has 23 cargo freighter destinations and 71 cargo destinations across the globe.
