Cargolux has announced the expansion of its services to Saudi Arabia by introducing one weekly frequency to Riyadh, effective 1 August, in addition to its twice weekly service to Dammam. Cargolux’s B747-400 freighters will be carrying largely consumer goods, machinery and pharmaceuticals to this new destination.

The carriers has also made some organisational changes, creating a new geographical area ‘Africa’ in order to better focus on its African services and at the same time, the Middle East stations will be incorporated into a new, bigger area incorporating Europe and Central Asia.
