UPS looking at acquisitions

Ã¢â‚¬Å“WeÃ¢â‚¬™re strengthening ourselves in emerging markets, the Middle East, Asia, areas where we think we can invest and grow,Ã¢â‚¬Â Davis said, adding that the express company was also looking at acquisitions in the healthcare logistics sector. UPS also wants to expand its services for handling healthcare products, Davis said. UPSÃ¢â‚¬™ supply-chain and freightforwarding operations are its smallest business, accounting for 17 per cent of 2008 sales.
