The Boeing Company recentlyannounced that Ray Conner is named vicepresident and general manager of SupplyChain Management and Operationswithin Boeing Commercial Airplanes.Conner is responsible for CommercialAirplanes Supplier Management,Fabrication, Propulsion Systems and theManufacturing and Quality functionalorganisation. Also shifting job roles isPat Shanahan, who has been namedvice president and general managerof a restructured Airplane Programsorganisation. Shanahan is responsible forall current commercial airplane productionand development programs, including the737, 747, 747-8, 767, 777 and 787. ScottFancher, meanwhile, has been named vicepresident and general manager of the 787Dreamliner programme. Fancher reportsdirectly to Pat Shanahan. And MarlinDailey has been named vice president ofSales for Boeing Commercial Airplanes.Dailey previously led the CommercialAirplanes Sales efforts in Europe, Russiaand Central Asia.
