Indonesian Mandala Air Total E & P Indonesia Warwick Brady


Indonesian carrier, Mandala Air has signed an agreement with French petroleum company, Total E & P Indonesie to provide air travel to Total’s employees following an audit of Mandala by Total E & P Indonesie in February 2008. The audit was conducted in Jakarta and included a visit to Singapore Airlines Engineering Company (SIAEC) in Singapore as the aircraft maintenance provider for Mandala.

CEO of Mandala, Warwick Brady said that Mandala has an open door policy inviting any interested party to audit Mandala including professional auditors representing corporate companies. Mandala has been audited by Airbus, Boeing, IATA (IOSA), Kenyon (worldwide disaster management specialists), DGCA and major oil companies such as Total E & P Indonesie.

“The cooperation with Total E & P Indonesie is very important for Mandala and we are delighted to be an approved airline of Total E & P Indonesie. Mandala will provide premium services to the employees of Total E & P Indonesie by off ering “Mandala Priority” which meets the needs of passengers requiring not only premium services but also network frequencies and excellent connectivity across key business destinations in Indonesia,” Warwick stated.

Warwick said Mandala will continue its expansion with more Airbus aircraft after taking delivery of more Airbus A319s in September and another Airbus A320 in the beginning of November to replace older Boeing B737-400s. In January 2009, Mandala will operate one single Airbus aircraft type, with the youngest aircraft fleet in the region.
