This state-of-the-art temperaturecontrolled storage facility completes the company’s cold chain transportation network in China which now extends to all 36 cities currently approved by the Chinese State Food and Drug Administration to host clinical trials. It is World Courier’s ninth such international facility designed to support global pharmaceutical research.
“While China is crucially important to the global R&D strategy of most international pharmaceutical companies, the practicality of managing clinical trial logistics continues to be a challenge,” says Allen Yan, General Manager for World Courier China. “The opening of our new depot – combined with decades of experience handling sensitive biological shipments and our specialized transport service offering – gives pharmaceutical clients a proven and reliable logistical partner in this very demanding location.”
