Singapore Airlines has announced that the agreements between, Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited’s whollyowned subsidiary Lentor Investments Pte Ltd, China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited and China Eastern Air Holding Company over the proposed strategic investment in China Eastern Airlines expired on 9 August 2008. "Although the agreements have expired, Singapore Airlines will explore other means of developing the relationships," SIA said adding it continues to be optimistic about the prospects for China’s airline industry.
