The United Arab Emirates represented by General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has signed an Air Services Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nigeria in Abu Dhabi.
Both parties agreed to designate Emirates Airlines, Etihad Airways and Air Arabia as designated airlines of the United Arab Emirates.
According to the MoU, it was agreed an important increase of frequencies that will allow Etihad Airways, Emirates Airline and Air Arabia to operate to specific points in Nigeria (Abuja, Lagos and Kuna) under certain conditions.
