Polet Airlines has started to implement the first phase of a unique project for the delivery of the first launch-vehicle stages KSLV-1 (Korean Space Launch Vehicle) from Russian to South Korea. The launch vehicles will be manufactured by Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center.
According to the bilateral intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in research and outer space use, Russia and South Korea are developing and building a South Korean missile complex equipped with the light-class launch vehicle KSLV-1.
The KSLV-1 will be delivered from Moscow to Ulyanovsk by rail near the airdrome Ulyanovsk-Vostochny and then delivered by road covering the distance of 3 km to An-124-100. The cargo will be loaded on the Ruslan and Polet Airlines will deliver the unique cargo to Pusan airport.
