Dragonair has increased its freighter service, which utilises a B747F, between Hong Kong and the mainland’s Xiamen to three times a week to meet demand to and from the Fujian city.
Passenger flights to Ningbo will also be increased from seven to 10 a week from 21 July, while passenger flights to Xiamen will be increased by four to a total of 18 per week from 1 September.
“The passenger and cargo enhancements will help strengthen Hong Kong’s position as a leading aviation hub and gateway to Mainland China,” said Dragonair chief executive officer Kenny Tang.
