Hong Kong-based Dragonair announced it will reschedule the launch of its new service to India’s Bengaluru (Bangalore) to 1 July. The decision was made after the carrier said it took into consideration factors like the availability of local facilities and the amount of time needed to prepare for operations after the opening of the new Bengaluru International Airport.
The new daily service to Bengaluru, operated by an Airbus A330-300 aircraft, marks the first time Dragonair has operated passenger flights to India. The service will provide new opportunities for people travelling between Hong Kong and the hi-tech capital of India.
