SIAEC wins maintenance deal from Gulf Air

SIA Engineering (SIAEC) , the aircraft maintenance unit of Singapore Airlines, said it has secured a three-year contract worth US$21 million from Bahrain-based Gulf Air. The contract covers fi ve Airbus A340, six Airbus A320 and six Airbus A330 from 2008 to 2010.

While SIAEC has been providing aircraft heavy maintenance services to several airlines in the Middle East, this is the first time Gulf Air has signed a long-term contract with SIAEC.
