The Indian government recently gave an in-principle approval to the transfer of the Nagpur airport to a joint venture between the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and the Maharashtra Airport Development Corporation (MADC) to develop a Multimodal International Passenger and CargoHub (MIHAN) in Nagpur.
