Global logistics provider, Agility has boosted its operations in Jordan’s capital, Amman, with a new warehouse in the Queen Alia International Airport Free Zone.

The 1,000 square metre facility ¨C Queen Alia Airfreight Logistics Center – is part of larger plans by Agility to expand its logistics operations across Jordan.

This includes a number of large-scale projects like the Aqaba Logistics Village and the King Hussein International Airport/Cargo Terminal in Aqaba.

With a capacity of up to 600 pallet positions the new facility is also a significant step in Agility’s efforts to serve a variety of their air freight customers in the Kingdom.

"Agility has distinguished itself, in Jordan and the wider Middle East, as a company that consistently provides comprehensive, innovative and reliable logistics solutions,"said Elias Monem, Agility CEO, Middle East and Africa. "This new facility opens up an entirely new avenue of trade to companies who want to reach global consumers while keeping their overheads low."

"The warehouse at Queen Alia International Airport is part of our overall vision for Jordan, which is to introduce innovative and reliable supply chain solutions, and therefore contribute to the overall economy,"said Monem.
