Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) began flights to Dubai on 31 October with three weekly non-stop services from Copenhagen using Airbus A340 aircraft.
The new route to Dubai offers onward connections to Bahrain, Doha (Qatar), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Kuwait, Muscat(Oman), and Tehran (Iran).
“There has been a significant increase of interest in destination Dubai, both amongst businessmen and leisure travellers, which has encouraged us to invest in Dubai and the Middle East,” said Lars Sandahl Sørensen, Chief Commercial Officer, SAS International.
“We are pleased to offer connections to the most important Middle Eastern destinations through our Dubai gateway. This is one of the fastest growing economical regions in the world, and SAS will now connect all of Northern Europe with all of Middle East. “
