Air cargo traffi c in the Philippines posted a modest growth of 4.5 per cent to 60,880 tonnes in the fi rst half of 2007 from 58,000 tonnes in the same period last year. The Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) said Philippine Airlines (PAL) carried 26,630 tonnes during the period down from 28,420 tonnes in the same period last year. Cebu Pacifi c followed with 24,045 tonnes; Pacifi c East Asia Cargo with 5,730 tonnes; Air Philippines with 4,700 tonnes and SEAIR with 110,892 kg.
