DHL has announced its intention to invest NT$210 million (US$6.3m) to expand its gateway at Taoyuan International Airport to 3.5 times the size of the previous facility. The gateway will move from the Evergreen Air Cargo Services building to the newly completed Farglory Free Trade Zone.When completed in 2009, the total footprint of the new Gateway will be more than 13,500 m², with a 9,500 m², operational area, increasing import and export throughput to 11,000 pieces per hour.
